Tim Wilde makes a comeback to the PFL against Amin Ayoub in Brussels on May 23.

Cage Warriors veteran Tim Wilde signs a new contract under PFL, fighting Amin Ayoub on the 23rd of May in Brussels.

With a one-fight contract under PFL, Tim aims to extend his deal with the promotion by putting on a performance his fans won’t forget. Although known as “The Experiment”, he has been tested in the sport with hard fights, but now aims to get the big opportunities he deserves. Tim states, “It’s about performances for me now — I want to showcase my skills.”

It’ll be a trip down memory lane for Tim in this fight against his opponent Amin Ayoub, an athlete he fought and beat back in 2018 who has also had a successful run in the sport thus far. With almost a decade gone by, Tim knows Amin will be a different challenge compared to all those years ago, but he’s ready to go, saying, “I’m such a completely different fighter.”

Being a fighter with such an extensive MMA career, Tim has been through the ranks, fighting for other well-known promotions like Cage Warriors and Bellator. He said, “I had a lot of very good, hard fights on Bellator and a lot of success with them.” Now it’s his time to solidify his place at the top of the sport, and this fight will do just that, allowing him to leave the sport on his terms, and his terms only. Tim stated, “I want to stop it at my control and not let the sport control me and make me stop it.”

Tim aims to lock in a 3–5 fight contract with PFL after this and wants to make sure that, at this stage of his career, he’s getting every drop out of the sport: “Whilst I still enjoy it, whilst I still have the desire and fire inside me, I want to fight,” he answered, making sure the gloves are hung up on his own terms, but most importantly, that memories are made in the cage.
