Video game to victory in the cage, MMA fighter Mason Kinsella explains his path into the sport.
Mason Kinsella, widely known as “The Wolf,” is a mixed martial artist from Chelmsford who has burst onto the amateur MMA scene. With an unbeaten record of eight wins and no losses, he explains how and why he got into the sport.
It all started with the video game “UFC 2.” The flashy kicks and captivating knockouts fascinated Mason, inspiring him to step into the cage and give it a go.
“I bought the game, and that got me into the sport. From there, I knew I wanted to do it,” Mason said.
Mason is now the featherweight champion in Cage Warriors Academy, Europe’s leading MMA promotion, and hopes to start his professional career next year.
